Cogeneration and Electric Utilities

Electricity not only shines brightly, it is also the driving force for industrial machinery. Electricity is irreplaceable for moving the economic forward. The importance of electricity to economic development is unparalleled. Fu-Tai project started the  cogeneration system project more than two decades ago, and has successively undertaken the planning and design of cogeneration plants in the oil refinery, petrochemical and chemical industries.

In order to improve the design and technical capabilities of power engineering, Fu-Tai Engineering has cooperated with Black & Veatch of the United States in 1992, and established a joint venture Fuwei Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., which successfully obtained Taipower Thermal Power Plant, Indonesia Thermal Power Plant and several mainland China with regard to the engineering turnkey service of coal-fired power plants. Through the technology transfer of Black & Veatch and the accumulation of Fu-Tai’s own technical experience, Fu-Tai Engineering has sufficient design capabilities in the cogeneration of steam and electricity and the power industry.

Fu-Tai can provide planning consultation, detailed design or complete solutions for thermal power plants, cogeneration, renewable electric energy, waste-to-energy, and power plant-related waste water and waste treatment. In the past, Fu-Tai has successively participated with coal-fired power plants projects with CPC, Formosa Heavy Industries Corp. Chang Chun Group, Tuntex Petrochemicals Inc., and CMFC(China Man-made Fiber Corporation), as well as the design of private power plants and flue gas desulfurization facilities of TPC.
